The Metroparks are looking to hire really great summer team members, and we want to know what’s important to you when you’re looking for a summer job.
Open 365 days a year with 13 individual parks and nearly 25,000 acres of woods, water and recreational facilities, the Huron-Clinton Metroparks are one of the nation’s premier regional park systems with locations surrounding the metro Detroit region in Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.
Each year more than 1.5 million people visit the Metroparks to enjoy activities such as picnicking, fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, nature study, biking, golf, disc golf, cross country skiing, sledding, a diversity of outdoor programs and special events and so much more.
The Metroparks’ team of 200 full-time employees and around 1,000 additional part-time and summer workers make it possible to deliver unforgettable experiences for all visitors. Many of our full-time team members started as summer workers – including our Director, Amy McMillan, who started as a toll booth attendant at Lake St. Clair Metropark (previously Metro Beach).
We are interested in better understanding how you look for summer jobs and what is most important to you so that we can create the best team with diverse talents. Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your answers with us.
